Danskin debuts collaborative dance-leisure capsule with actress Jenna Dewan

Danskin, the heritage dance and lifestyle brand owned by Iconix Brand Group, has unveiled its first capsule made in collaboration with brand ambassador Jenna Dewan.

The new women's collection, meant to support activity and be suitable for everyday wear, includes a range of activewear, dancewear and intimates. Highlighted items include matching leggings and sports bras, a jogger and hoodie set, and a dance-inspired leotard.

The capsule features fabrics like cotton and polyester jersey, polyester spandex, mesh and fleece in a color palette of nudes, maroons, rose gold and neutrals. Prices range from $28 to $100.

It is hoped that Dewan, an actress in Netflix drama "Mixtape" and Fox Network's "The Resident," will play a key role in introducing the brand to a younger audience and positioning it as casually wearable.

"I designed this collection with active women of all ages in mind and wanted the pieces to look as good as they feel and to be able to move with the body all day long," the actress said in a release. 

In addition to promoting the capsule to her audience of five million Instagram followers, Dewan stars in the collection's campaign, which features photography by David Roemer and styling by Brad Goreski. 

In partnership with women's athletic and athleisure retailer Six:02, the Jenna Dewan x Danskin capsule is available now at select Six:02 stores, as well as online at both the retailer and the brand's e-commerce platforms.
