Menswear Colour and Fabric Trends - Spring/Summer 2021 (ItaltexTrends)
14 janv. 2020
Recycle and sustainability
Recyclable – sustainable innovation - circular economy - traceability are the season’s key words. Fashion must be sustainable both for the environment and human beings.
The spin-off of virtuous circles of real raw material recycle, sustainable water management, renewable energy and eco-friendly chemicals use, as well as production traceability confers added value to products.
NEUTRAL AND NATURAL SHADES
Natural fibers like linen, hemp and organic cotton are at their best in neutral, cereal inspiration hues to be used for jacquard sweatshirt, ribbed knits, rustic jackets and unusual straw tinted denim.
DRY GREENS
The greens become cold, in cactus inspiration shades teamed to grey or earthy hues, or emphasized by blue. Materials are “green” too, and polyamide is organic-based - made from renewable vegetable materials instead of oil.
Stripes-stripes-stripes for 70’s style blazers and denim trousers in interchangeable fabrics.
WINE INSPIRATION
Reddish tones on the verge of autumnal hues are enlightened by burgundy and beige combinations. The summer fibers of linen for blazers and cotton for structured jerseys confer freshness to the fabrics. Wine becomes a watery colour.
